Dads Diner

Inspired by Chad on our recent portage/canoe trip I went for a bike ride after work and  I present for your culinary pleasure Dads Wild Leek and Potato Soup

bring the ingredients shown in the video to a boil in 4 cups of water with a Knorr  bouillon gel pack. turn down cover and simmer 20-40 min’s depending on potato size. Stir occasionally and  add water as necessary.

Ya the wild ones are smaller but they’re so much tastier than the store-bought. If you’ve never had them they’re like green onion meets garlic. Now remember never take more than you can use. I show a huge patch but if you stumble on a small patch never take more than half if you want some next spring!
